SKETCHBOOK COMMISSION RAFFLE
Journal Entry: Sat Apr 26, 2008, 2:39 PM
As previously mentioned, I wanted to give a shot at a sketchbook auction. It sounded like a handy approach to getting some money and keeping myself busy, but then I realized how limiting an auction is to buyers. I know what it's like to be strapped for cash, so I decided to instead try a raffle. This way, everyone can afford the chance to win, not just those able to throw out a few hundred at a time.
-----------------
PRIZES
1ST PLACE: A 9" x 12" 24 page (80 lb paper) sketchbook filled up to winner's specifications. Any subject goes, but I do have limitations (please contact me for specific questions on what I will/will not do). The breakdown:
15 sketches, 6 inks, and 3 traditionally colored pieces, up to three characters per pages (a value of $300+).
2ND PLACE: Fully colored commission, up to three characters plus a background, colored in a medium of your choice ( a value of $80+)
3RD PLACE: An inked commission, up to three characters plus a background, as well as an icon commission (a value of $50+)
*Please be aware that the sketchbook will be completed in no longer than a year's time, with a target time of six to seven months. This is a heavy undertaking so please do not expect a turn around of a month or two!
TICKETS
Tickets are $3 a piece, or two for $5. Paypal is preferred, but I will accept money orders. Send Paypal payments to theFinalFlight@gmail.com. PLEASE INCLUDE YOUR DA ACCOUNT NAME AND AN E-MAIL ADDRESS WITH YOUR PAYMENT. Also please specify that it is a DeviantArt account name as this is not the only art gallery this message is posted on!
DEADLINE
I will selling raffle tickets until MAY 26TH, one month from today.
-----------------
My tentative goal, ticket-wise, is $300. IF I REACH OR PASS THIS GOAL ADDITIONAL PRIZES AND PRIZE UPGRADES WILL BE ADDED. Feel free to contact me with any questions regarding the raffle.

Wold you be interested in doing some art collaboration?
I have been doing to ink drawings that I would like to have colored, but I cannot color on the originals.
Would you be interested in possibly doing some digital painting of them? They are small and rather simple. Also funny!
Any who, let me know!
now.
wait, no, then i wouldn't have anything to stare at for hours! D:

Okay, so toast always falls butter-side-down, right? And cats always land on their feet. What happens if you slather a cat's back in butter and drop it off of a building, then?
